Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer is a popular North Indian dish. It is also popular in Pakistani Restaurants. Palak Paneer is a creamy dish made from Spinach (Palak) and Paneer (Cottage Cheese) with some other spices. 



You may have many recipes of Palak Paneer but  Here I will share my simple recipe with you. I hope you will enjoy. Follow all the steps.


INGREDIENTS


1. 1400 gram Spinach/Palak




2. Sliced Onion 1 Cup




 3. 2 table spoon Oil


4. 1 table spoon Garlic Paste


5. 1 table spoon Ginger Paste


6. 200 gram Paneer/cottage Cheese




7. 1/4 teaspoon Black Salt


8. 1 teaspoon Garam Masala


9. 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder


10. Salt as per taste


11. 2-3 table spoon Dairy Cream/Curd


12. 1 teaspoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves




13. 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder


14. 3-5 Green Chilies


15. 1 table spoon Butter


16. Water


RECIPE


1. Add water to a pot and heat it. When water becomes boil add Spinach Leaves into it. 




2. Keep boiling for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.


3. Strain and leave to cool.




4. Put it in a juicer and blend it well for 2-3 minutes.


5. Heat butter in a pan over medium flame and add Cumin seeds and sizzle them for 1-2 minutes. 


6. Now add finely chopped Onion and Oil to it and Saute for 1-2 minutes and then add ginger garlic paste to it. Saute until Onion become lightly brown.


7. Add Garam Masala, Black Salt, Dried Fenugreek Leaves, Coriander Powder, Salt and Chopped Green Chilies and cook for 2-4 minutes on very low flame.


8. Add Spinach Puree to it and cook until it releases Oil on the top and it will change its color.


9. Add cream or Curd to it and cook for 3-4 minutes.




10. Cut the Paneer/Cottage Cheese into cubes and add some oil into a pan.. Heat the Oil and then add Paneer/Cottage Cheese into it and fry for 1-2 minutes on medium-low flame. 



11. Add this fried Paneer into the Spinach and switch off the flame. 




12. Take it out into a bowl and serve with fluffy Rice, Parathas or Naan. Delicious Palak Paneer is ready to eat.
