Crispy Potato Snacks

Crispy Potato Snacks are thin slices of Potatoes which fried until golden brown and Crunchy. Potato Snacks are crunchy on the  outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It is a popular snack of Pakistan, India and even in European countries . It is a delicious and flavorful snack.




There are variety of recipes of Potato Snacks but here I will share an easy and authentic recipe which will lead you the crispy and delicious snacks. Follow all the steps.


INGREDIENTS


1. Potatoes as required


2. 1/2 Cup Chickpea Flour


3. 3 table spoon Rice Flour


4. 1/2 teaspoon Salt


5. 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes


6. 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder


7. 1/4 teaspoon Carrom Seeds


8. 2 teaspoon Coriander Powder


9. 1/2 teaspoon Chaat Masala


10. 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala


11. 2 table spoon Fresh Coriander


12. A pinch of Baking Soda


13.  Water as required


14. Oil for Frying


RECIPE


1. Peel and Slice the Potatoes in very thin rounds.




2. Soak them into water for 5 minutes. Strain them.


3. Take another bowl and add Chickpea flour, Rice Flour, Salt, Red Chili Flakes, Coriander Powder, Chaat Masala, Turmeric Powder, Carrom Seeds, Garam Masala, Baking Soda and fresh Coriander.




4. Add 1 teaspoon Oil into the mixture and then add Water and mix everything well. 


👉 The mixture should be neither too thick nor too thin. 


5. Add the Potato Slices to the mixture and coat evenly with the mixture.


6. Add Oil in a frying Pan and heat it on medium to high flame. 


7. When the Oil is hot add a few Potato Slices into it. Do not overcrowd. Fry them for 3-4 minutes until they become golden brown or crispy. 




8. Remove the Crispy Potato Snacks from the Oil  and drain on paper towel.




9. Delicious and Crispy Potato Snacks are ready to Eat. Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite Sauce or ketch up.
