Karahi Gosht New Restaurant Style

Beef Karahi is a popular Pakistani dish made with tender Beef and some other ingredients. 



Beef Karahi is popular for its spicy, delicious and rich taste. It is often serve with Naan or Rice. There are many recipes of Beef Karahi but here I will share my unique and special recipe with you. 

Follow all the steps.


INGREDIENTS 


1. 1 cup Cooking Oil


2. 1 medium size Onion


3. 1 kg Beef




4. 2 table spoon Ginger Garlic Paste


5. 2 large size Tomatoes


6. 1 teaspoon Salt


7. 1 table spoon Coriander Powder




8. 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder


9. 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder


10. 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder




11. 1/2 Cup Yogurt (Curd)


121/4 teaspoon roughly Ground Black pepper powder



 



13. 1/4 teaspoon Dried Fenugreek




14.  4-5 Green Chilies


15. Fresh Coriander as per your taste


16. 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala 


RECIPE


1. Put Ghee/Oil in a pressure cooker and add chopped Onion to it.




2. Lightly brown the Onion and add beef to it. 




3. Fry the Beef in Onion  for 8-9 minutes on medium flame so that it changes its color and the water it leaves, dries up.


4. Now add Ginger Garlic Paste and chopped Tomatoes to it. Mix it well and cover with the lid.




5. Let it cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes. 


6. After 3-4 minutes tomatoes will also start to get tender, this time add Salt, Cumin Powder, Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder, and Coriander Powder.


7. Mix well and roast the spices on medium flame for 1-2 minutes. 


8. Add 1 cup of water to it and close the lid. Cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame, 3 minutes before whistle and 7 minutes after whistle. 


👉 If you are cooking  in a pan or Karahi then add 1 liter water to it and cook for 40 minutes on medium flame. 


9. After 10 minutes remove the lid and again turn on the flame and cook for 1-2 minutes on high flame so that the water should dry well.


10. Add yogurt and cook for 1-2 minutes on low flame. 




11. Add Chopped Green Chilies, chopped Fresh Coriander, Black Pepper, dried Fenugreek, and Garam masala to it and cook on high flame for 30-40 seconds.


12. Cook it on high flame because if you cook it on medium or low flame it will turn to black. 


13. Pour into a serving bowl and garnish with Green Chilies and Fresh  Coriander.
