Lachha Paratha

Lachha Paratha is a popular Pakistani as well as Indian Flatbread. 

This is a very simple and delicious Paratha. Which is made of only two things.

 


There are many recipes of Lachha Paratha but here I will share my unique and wonderful recipe, after trying this you will become master in making Lachha Paratha.

Follow all the steps. 

Ingredients

1. 400 Gram Wheat Flour


2. 1/2 teaspoon Salt


3. Water As required or 200 ml


Recipe

1. Take a bowl and add flour and salt  to it. 


2. Add water little by little and knead the dough well. 


3Apply a little oil on both sides of the dough and rest for 20 minutes.


4. Make a dough ball of the size you like the Paratha.


5. Similarly make other dough balls and Dust them with flour and keep in a plate.



6. Take a dough ball, lightly dust it with flour  and roll it gently with the help of a rolling pin.


7. Keep changing sides and roll it with rolling pin. 



8. After rolling the bread spread the ghee on it. you can add more or less ghee.



9. After applying ghee on bread, sprinkle a little dry flour on the bread. 



10. Mix ghee and dry flour well.


11. Now lift the bread from one end and turn it inward about an inch. 


12. Now the one inch part of the bread that we have bent, bend it back half an inch.



13. In the same way lift the bread forward one inch and half an inch back and make the whole loaf in this way. 



14. Then press it down and stretch it to make a little longer. 



15. Fold one end of the length inward and again make a dough ball.  




16. Let them rest for almost 5 minutes. 


17. Put a little dry flour on the table.


18. Place dough ball on it.


19. Then press it with soft hands, do not press too hard.


20. Then lightly dust it with flour and roll it with soft hands.


21. The more you roll the bread with soft hands, the faster the layers will start farming.



22. Heat the Tawa on high flame. When Tawa become hot, turn the flame medium. 


23. Cook it from one side for 8-10 seconds without adding ghee. 


24. Now cook the other side in the same way for 8-10 seconds. 


25. After cooking for 8-10 seconds put ghee on this side, do not flip the side again. 


26. Then cook it by gently turning it. 


27. When one side turns golden brown , add ghee to the other side and cook it too until become golden brown.



28. After both sides are cooked, take it out in a plate and serve with your favorite sauce or dip.
