Sheer Khurma is a traditional dessert popular in muslim communities, specially on Eid ul-Fitr. This is made by Vermicelli with sugar, milk and other special ingredients.
This is a very delicious sweet dish. If you eat it once, you will definitely want to eat it again.
Ingredients
1. 2kg Milk
2. 100gram Sugar
3. 5 Green Cardamom
4. 30 gram Ghee
5. 90 gram Soaked Cashew
6. 90 gram soaked Almond
7. 90 gram soaked Pistachio
8. 50 gram soaked coconut
9. 50 gram Raisins (kishmish)
10. 1 tbs Custard powder
11. 80 gram vermicelli (sawaiyan)
12. 150 gram Condensed Milk
13. 500 Gram Milk powder
Recipe
1. Pour half a cup of milk into a grinder.
2. Peel the Almonds.
3. Now add 30 gram Almonds, 30 gram Cashew in the grinder and grind them.
4. Add 2 table spoon Milk powder into it and grind it to make a paste.
5. Add milk in large pan, turn on the flame and add this paste into milk.
6. Add chopped Cardamom.
7. Now take another pan and add Ghee into it.
8. Heat the ghee on low flame.
9. Now chop all the dry fruit.
10. Add 60 gram Almonds, 60 gram Cashew, 60 gram Pistachio, 50 gram coconut, vermicelli and roast for 3 minutes on low flame.
11. Boil the milk in which we have added the paste.
12. Add paste, sugar, Condensed Milk, raisins and roasted dry fruit and vermicelli into the milk.
13. When it cook for one minute, add the custard powder in it.
(You can use any color or brand of custard powder).
14. mix well and cook for another 6-7 minutes on medium to low flame.
Whether you eat it hot or cold, there will be no reduction in its taste.
