Recipe Of Gulab Jamun

 Gulab jamun are the small, tasty and delicious sweet balls. These are made from Semolina (sooji) and sugar. There are different recipes of making Gulab Jamun but here I will share my unique recipe with you. 

When you follow all the steps, very tasty and crispy Gulab Jamun will be ready.



Lets start the recipe with me

Ingredients

1. One cup sooji (Semolina)


2. Two cups of Milk


3. 500 gram Sugar


4. 500 ml Water


5. 2 Green Cardamom


6. One table spoon Milk powder


7. 2 Cup Ghee


Recipe

1. Add sooji to a pan and turn on the flame.


2. When sooji is lightly roasted, shift it to a bowl.


3. Now pour milk in a pan and turn on the flame.


4. When the milk become slightly hot, reduce the flame completely.


5. Add sooji to the milk little by little and keep stirring the spoon along with it.


6. Cook for 3-4 minutes and then set aside to cool.


7. Add sugar, water and cardamom in a pan.


8. Just melt the sugar on medium to low flame.


9. Now add dry milk to the sooji which is kept to cool.


10. Knead well and take care that no lums form, otherwise the Gulab jamun will break.




11. Take the sooji mixture on your hand and mash it well to remove all the air.


12. Then make it into a round shape.


13. Similarly make small balls.


14. Heat Ghee on high flame.


15. When the ghee is well heated, reduce the flame to very low.


16. Now put all the ball in the Ghee and leave for 2 minutes.


17. After that roll the oil up and down with a spoon.


18. after 5-6 minutes when it turns a nice color, switch off the stove and take them out.


19. Leave them in sugar syrup for 5 minutes, then take them out.



Hot, Soft and chewy Gulab Jamun are ready, You can eat hot with sugar syrup or can be eaten cold.
