kheer is a popular dish in south Asia, but it is a festive dish in Pakistan. Kheer is a delicious, creamy and thick dessert made by the blend of Milk and Rice. It also contain some other ingredients which make it more tasty. So here I will share my unique and easy Kheer recipe. Follow all the steps
At First we look at its ingredients
Ingredients
1. Half Cup Rice
2. One liter Milk
3. 1 table spoon Ghee
4. Milk powder 1/2 table spoon
5. 2 Green Cardamom
6. 1 table spoon Almonds
7. 1 table spoon Pistachio/Cashew
8. 1 table spoon Raisins (kishmish)
9. Sugar 1/2 cup
Recipe
1. Grind the Rice and soak it half an hour before.
2. After that wash the rice two times.
3. Take a pan and add half cup water in it.
4. Turn on the flame and add Milk and Rice to it. Keep it to cook on medium flame.
5. Now grind two table spoon rice, milk powder, 2 table spoon liquid milk and Cashew. And make a paste.
6. Add this paste to the Milk and Rice that are kept for boiling.
7. Add Ghee to a Pan.
8. Heat the flame, then add almonds, pistachio, cashew and lightly roast them.
9. Add all the roasted and chopped dry fruit to the Milk and Rice that we kept for cooking.
10. Now add sugar, cardamom and raisins (kishmish) to it.
11. Cook it on medium to low flame for 10 minutes.
Precaution
Do not over-thicken the kheer because as its cool down kheer will become more thicken.
